Yoga Class Descriptions
Introduction to Hatha Yoga/ Beginner Level
A systematic and thorough introduction to asana (postures), breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques that comprise the complete practice of hatha yoga. This class will help reduce stress, increase energy, strengthen and stretch the muscles, and increase cardiovascular health.
Intermediate Level/ All Levels
Experience an in-depth exploration of postures, pranayama, systematic relaxation techniques, and meditation practices. This class will challenge the intermediate level student to go further in their postures, experience advanced asanas, and will increase cardiovascular health through a series of faster-paced sun salutations. Modifications given for beginning students.
Advanced Level Hatha Yoga/ Vinyasa
Experience an in-depth exploration of postures and breathing practices. This class will physically challenge students to take their hatha yoga to the next level. This class is fast paced and focuses on the sun salutation series and postures for strength and energy. For experienced and physically fit students.
Pre-Natal Yoga
Yoga during pregnancy helps moms to prepare their minds and bodies for labor and delivery.
This class will also help students learn relaxation techniques and coping
strategies for sleepless nights, crying little ones, and the highs and lows of being a new mom!
Meditation
Learn simple yoga meditation and quiet your mind while surrounded
by friends from our spiritual community.
