  • Prenatal Yoga for Childbirth Preparation with Sarah Trout, RYT
    May 26 12:30-2 pm
This hands-on workshop will look at the miracle of childbirth from a yogini's perspective and provide valuable tools to help you through your pregnancy and labor. The yoga practice outlined is ideal for someone who is pursuing natural childbirth, but can certainly also be applied to someone who is planning a medicated birth. We will learn and practice various asanas that can be useful throughout pregnancy, labor and post-partum, as well as learn specific pranayama, meditation, and guided relaxation techniques that can have a profound impact on pain perception and the degree to which you may feel prepared to cope with the amazing and challenging experience that is childbirth.
  • Karma Yoga with Nicole Chemi and Joe Finnerty
    June 2 12:30-2pm
The Bhagavad Gita details four different paths to enlightenment. As householder yogis, all of us need to perform actions and our duties. In this workshop, we will talk about the path of Karma Yoga and how to look at our work through the eyes of selflessness.
  • Kena Upanishad with Nicole Chemi, E-RYT
    June 16 12:30-2pm
Who moves the world? How many times have you asked yourself, "Who am I?" In this beautiful and moving Upanishad, a teacher and student discuss the True Self. The student is encouraged to seek the Self and release attachment to the ego through awareness and meditation practice. Prior reading of the Upanishads is not required.

All workshops are $25 unless noted otherwise. Save $5 if you sign up for more than one workshop.
